Evercity signs a Charter of collaboration with Det Norske Veritas (DNV) - the world’s leading independent expert in assurance and risk management. The document was officially signed during the session ‘ Digital innovations for accelerating the supply on the voluntary carbon market’, organized by Evercity at the Digital Innovations Pavilion at COP27. The Charter was signed by Anirban Chatterjee - Head of Business Development, Sales & Marketing-India & Middle East Region at DNV, and Alexey Shadrin - CEO & Founder at Evercity.
The parties expressed their intention to collaborate on providing digital MRV solutions for green debt and carbon market participants. The collaboration has an ambitious vision of providing innovative MRV models ensuring higher transparency and accountability that are crucial for the integrity of climate finance markets. An important role in this process will be played by the process of digitization, including with the use of distributed ledger technology.
