How are climate risks related to business activities?
Climate risks cause significant direct and indirect impacts on companies: damages to assets, supply chains disruption, changes in supply and demand for some products. Moreover, companies have to report and disclose climate risks as asked for benchmarking by financial institutions and to comply with regulations.
What is the difference between acute and chronic physical risks?
Acute physical risks refer to those that are event-driven, including increased severity of extreme weather events (e.g. floods, hurricanes). Chronic physical risks refer to longer-term shifts in climate patterns (e.g., sustained higher temperatures).
How is climate risk assessing related to different standards and frameworks?
Climate risks are mentioned in variety of standards (TCFD, GRI, etc.). Assessment of climate risks is required by the EU Taxonomy regulation.

We aggregate open-source datasets from the most trusted sources (IPCC, World resource institute, etc.) and process them for further GIS analysis.
How granular is your data?
Spatial resolution of our data varies from 1 to 28 km.
What time frames do you use include?
By default we use three time periods: near-term (2021-2040), medium-term (2041-2060) and long-term (2061-2080). However we can customize these periods under your requirements.
